2024 So Far: H1 Product Highlights

The Street Context team has been busy developing products for both our sell side and buy side clients. These include not only our new Broker Relations product for the buy side, but features and functionality requested by you, our users, for the sell side. Top Highlights (TL;DR)

  • Our buy-side platform is now live! For our sell-side users this means:
    • Better insight into what your clients care about
    • Easier management of who is who on the buy side
    • Easier entitlement management through third party platforms
  • Our formal distribution offering is now live
    • Expanded this to support asynchronous email sending via API
  • Enterprise capabilities have been expanded
    • Route compliance copies to different inboxes depending on which region a user sits
    • Over a 60% improvement in email processing speed thanks to our new architecture for sending emails
    • Launched our single tenant offering in closed beta

 

Broker Relations

Recently, we launched the first version of our solution for the buy side, currently in closed beta with our first clients and design partners. The first version includes the ability to centralize contact records (including sell side contact information), update and manage investment professional profiles, and send updates via email to brokers and other counterparties.

This product has been highly requested from both our buy and sell side clients, and has TONS of upcoming benefits for our sell side users as well. Check out more about how the Broker Relations product will make your life easier as it grows here.

General Enhancements 

We are consistently investing in the speed and scale of our platform. In Q1 we made performance enhancements to enable faster response times when sending via our programmatic API. We also improved the speed and performance of our contact status calculations to allow the Contact Utility feature to scale with increasing demand. 

Throughout the rest of the year, we will be migrating our insight emails that you receive to hit your inbox according to your timezone, ensuring you get timely insights directly to your inbox

Back End Improvements

Database

We’ve made improvements in our database to improve delivery time, increase our capacity for large distributions, and help you better manage which emails should and should not be tracked.

Enterprise Capabilities

Working with some of the biggest banks in the world, with users in over 40 countries, we make regular improvements to meet their evolving needs including enhancements in our back end structure. We have also introduced the ability to route compliance copies of emails to regional compliance inboxes.

In addition to the buy-side product, we also launched a new sell-side solution: our formal research distribution solution. This new solution will provide the insights our users have come to rely on for informal commentary to formal research communications as well.

Security Enhancements

To keep our users and clients safe and secure, we regularly update our security systems and policies to adapt. As part of regular reviews we’ve updated several policies which address how we securely manage keys, administrate our network, and govern key internal procedures.

Broker Relations

In the second half of the year we will continue to build out our buy side solution to include functionality like list management to streamline how requests are sent, email customizations to allow for more context to be added to requests, and the ability to replicate buy side profiles to make onboarding more efficient.

This will lay the foundation to start connecting the sell side and buy side platforms in the near future. That means the potential for connected contact information, profile sharing, subscription management, preference sharing, and thematically a better experience for both sides of the street when it comes to communicating.

Performance Improvements

We are always improving the accuracy of our data and improving how we communicate those insights to you to better meet your needs. We will be launching a beta of additional insight emails sent to users based on requests we have received. We will also be introducing the ability to change the reply-to address based on your feedback. 

Back End Improvements

Database

We’re working on improvements that will allow us to deliver even deeper insights on your email engagement. Our team is also always working to keep the analytics we deliver at an industry-leading level of accuracy and will focus on enhancing our ability to filter out false positives.

Security Enhancements

In addition to regular reviews of policies and procedures as well as continuing to monitor and address possible threats, we are in the process of conducting the necessary audit to renew our Soc 2 Type 2 certification. We are also conducting a thorough accessibility audit of our platform to evaluate it against new WCAG standards.
